hi Sara,

please be more precise: where does it fail - can you send a snapshot of your point set and results?

thank you,

Sure, I have a unorganized point set without normals . I want to do triangulation on them. First, I need to do some preprocessing such as : Simplification, outlier removal, smoothing, normal estimation. There are some examples for each of them here:
http://www.cgal.org/Manual/last/doc_html/cgal_manual/Point_set_processing_3/Chapter_main.html

but when I try to put them together as a pipeline . it doesn't work.

Thank you,
Sara

Hey guys,

I was trying to generate a mesh from cloud points.

register + merge a couple of scans you mean?

I know there is a chapter in CGAL for that. I was trying to put the pipeline which came in the manual together , but it caused error when I put the example in the one program. Is there anyone that has a demo for whole process. I appreciate your help.

can u be more specific?
cheers

Thank you,
Sara
