hi Marc, I am sorry to bother you again. I read the manual an also your report
"Topology driven algorithms for ridge extraction on Ridges" and I read
"Multiplying the sharpness by the square of the model size gives a
threshold and an associated sharpness-filter which are scale
independent".
What do you mean by model size? I have done some filtering (by using a
threshold of strength | sharpness threshold as sugested in
54.5.3 Example: Filtering of Crest Ridges on a Mechanical Part,
in my objects and was ok. I am doing some reasearch in 3D object
recognition by using differential properties of its surfaces.
If I can use a normalized version sharpness would be nice :-)

Best regards
rlam
