There is no definition of manifold in term of constraints on connection 
! This is the reason of the definition of quasi-manifold !!

Moreover your definition of non-manifold is wrong (it could help to have 
an intuition but this is not a definition). A non-manifold is something 
which is not a manifold.

For the manifold definition, the only one is the def given in the cgal 
page [1] or see wikipedia for more details [2].
