I recently decidedto install CGAL on Ubuntu 8.04, but first I checked with Synaptic and found that it was already installed. I guess as part of the upgrade to 8.04.  I've been compiling and running programs using CGAL ever since, and it has all gone quite smoothly.

Some of library as shown RED above can not be installed. I have tried to install those library from Synaptic manager and run the install_cgal. Unfortunately again the same error.

I have downloaded..
   
 gmp-4.2.4.tar.gz
    mpfr-2.3.2.tar.gz
    taucs_full.tgz (from CGAL download site)

I dont know how to isntall these packages. Kindly help some one. I have also attached picture of BLAS, LAPACK and ATLAS status on my laptop from synaptic package manager. But still while installing CGAL installer says "not supported". Also give hint how to install these BLAS, LAPACK and ATLAS to get it supported while isntalling CGAL.
