Verify that your MSVS has the last patches. Then, make sure that last 
vcredist 
for last VC80 is install. As I am not really a user of Windows products, I 
cannot give you more information about the precise way to proceed.

Or upgrade to VC90! ;-) VC10 is about to be released (beta stage for now).
