Actually, for precompiled demos, you need to download the DLLs. See 
http://www.cgal.org/Manual/latest/doc_html/cgal_manual/packages.html#part_I

In the left side of "Installation", see the link named "dlls used by all 
demos". And download that zip. You must put those DLLs somewhere in your 
PATH. 
The easiest way it to put them in the same directory as the demos' .exe files.
