I have to ask you why.
What would be the triangulation of the Schönhardt polyhedron with all of its
edges constrained?
The way I see it (not saying I am right) you would have three tetrahedra
filling the exterior concavities of the polyhedron and leaving the interior
space empty and not triangulatable. Both faces and edges would be indeed
constrained, but I doubt it is allowed to leave a void in a triangulation.
