Did you try "export CXX=xlc ; cmake ; make" ?

It looks like CGAL uses gcc by default. Actually I must use IBM 7.0 compiler (xlc) to be consistent with other software on IBM system. I need determine how to configure CGAL to build with xlc. Any suggestions on how to do it?
Thank you in advance,

My suggestion would be that you change all occurences of the word "hz"
to e.g. "hz_" in your own copy of CGAL.

I don't see a reasonable solution to work around this within CGAL.
