After I set CXX to IBM 7.0 compiler 'xlc', looks like to me xlc was found when I called install_cgal. But, I got errors about this compiler. Please take a look at the install.log. I am wondering whether IBM 7.0 compiler xlc is supported or not for CGAL 3.3.1

Thanks,
-Shu

Hi,

> Where should I put "export CXX=xlc ; cmake ; make"? Could you give me an exact procedure on how to do it?

this advice applies to CGAL 3.4 which uses cmake. Is there any reason
why you use the old CGAL 3.3.1?

There was a way to set the compiler in 3.3.1 as well. Probably you have
to set CXX (and maybe CC) before calling install_cgal.
