Providing me only results without any code showing how they were
produced is not that helpful.

Please provide a minimal compilable example showing the problem.

Thanks,

Sebastien.

Hi Sebastien,

My aim is to find the most representative coarse triangulation on a 3-d
surface possible. I want to constrain the border edges on a surface or the
sharp feature edges on closed geometry (by calculating the angle between the
normals on either side of a half-edge and marking them) to ensure that they
remain in their fixed position.

However, from the examples attached you can see I am not getting improved
results from constraining the edges! So my question is how does the
constraint work and what are the limitations?

Thanks.
