Hi Johan,

CGAL provides packages for Debian sarge. When I created the packages, I
also tested demos and examples and did not notice any problems, though I
tested on i386 only. I could test it on amd64 again, but that has to
wait until the end of the week.

Do you use the Debian packages for gcc, GMP, and MPFR? Which versions?
(Debian package version number (if applicable), upstream version number
otherwise).

Errors in install.log are not directly a problem. install_cgal does many
tests to detect compiler characteristics and supported libraries, so
some tests will fail. If the output (stdout) of install_cgal is fine,
you probably do not need to look at install.log.
