yes, I can reproduce the problem. The 3.3 development branch of gcc has
been closed long ago, so even if one could create a small test case, it
is unlikely that this bug gets fixed. Can you use a more up-to-date
compiler? It works without problems with g++ 4.1 on Debian etch/sid.
